Milady is one of the most used and reliable mages in the Honor of Kings, generally played in mid-lane. You can get it for free by completing some simple tasks in the game. She has some unique qualities, which make her a must-pick mage in the early ranks. In this Honor of Kings guide, we will take a look at the skills, and best builds, including tips and tricks to dominate every game with Milady.
We have previously discussed how to master playing with other Honor of Kings heroes like Diaochan, Private Ear, Solarus, Lady Sun, Musashi, Mirrorblade, Eternal Sage, Peacekeeper, Arthur, Menki, Angela, Monkey King, Alessio, Sea Farer, and Athena. So make sure to check these hero guides as well. For now, let’s focus on Milady.
Milady is from the Navenia Nobility family, and Marco Polo is her subordinate. She has good crowd control, high area of effect damage, and mid-range attack skills. Based on her skill-casting abilities, we can rate her as an A-tier pick with a very easy difficulty level. Once you know the basics, you can easily finish any enemy with one shot in the early to late game, so without further ado, let’s just jump into the battlefield with Milday.
Skill Analysis
Milady is a hero that has four abilities which are one passive and three active. In this Milady guide, let’s see what are her abilities in Honor of Kings, and when you can use which skill to get the best out of her.
Passive – Mechanoid Minion (Damage)
This is her main ability, which makes Milady unique. She completely depends on this technique; understanding this is very important to kill enemies, or else Milady is useless in the game. Each time Milady kills a minion or enemy on the battlefield, it will turn into a mecha minion, which lasts for the next 8 seconds and explodes at the end while dealing 200 (+30% Magical Attack) magical damage to nearby enemy units.
These mecha minions can deal 150 (+30% Magical Attack) physical damage to enemies by their basic attacks; moreover, they have 550 (+110% Magical Attack) HP and 450 (+10% Magical Attack) movement speed. But there is a limit: Milady can only summon five mecha minions at a time. Summoning an additional minion will force the first summoned minion to explode while dealing 200 (+30% Magical Attack) magical damage to nearby enemy units.
Skill 1 – Air Superiority (Damage, Crowd Control)
CD – 8/7.6/7.2/6.8/6.4/6 seconds
Mana Cost – 60
This skill has two phases. Upon casting this skill for the first time, Milady launches an aircraft in the designated direction, which can deal multiple attacks, where the first two attacks deal 70 (+7% Magical Attack)/80/90/100/110/120 magical damage.
After two consecutive successful attacks, this aircraft can attack a third time while dealing 140 (+14% Magical Attack) magical damage. If you press this skill again, then the aircraft will split into two pieces while dealing 80 (+6% Magical Attack)/92/104/116/128/140 magical damage and slowing them down for the next 1.5 seconds by 50%.
Skill 2 – Forced Invasion (Damage)
CD – 3 seconds
Mana Cost – 25
This skill is basically used to summon mech minions. This skill can gather 2 mecha minions at a time but can be stacked up to 3 times, so the maximum number will be 6. Upon summoning, these minions will activate after 1 second while dealing 100 (+20% Magical Attack)/120/140/160/180/200 Magical damage to nearby enemy units.
Milady can stock 1 charge of this skill every 16/15.2/14.4/13.6/12.8/12 seconds, up to 3 charges. So, use it wisely; that will give you an upper hand in late games or team fights. This kill will also help you avoid unwanted ganks on the battlefield. Place your mecha minions in the bush to check your enemies’ locations.
Skill 3 – Chaos Field (Damage, Crowd Control)
CD – 35/30/25 seconds
Mana Cost – 100
This skill can be cast on enemies or buildings. Upon casting, the target will be marked for the next 3 seconds, and non-building units will be stunned for the next 0.75 seconds while receiving 80 (+4% Magical Attack) magic damage every 0.5 seconds and having a particular unit’s movement speed reduced by 30%. When the 3-second time duration is over, the mark will explode and cause magical damage equal to 25%/37%/50% of the total damage received by the target while the mark was active on the unit.
Skill-up method for Milady
Unlock skill 2 first to poke the enemies, then unlock skill 1, Ultimate, whenever it becomes available.
Best Arcana build and Spells for Milady in Honor of Kings
Arcana Build
The best Arcana Build for Milady is:
Nightmare / Saint (V)*10 + Mind’s Eye (V)*10 + Hunter (V)*10
In this build, Nightmare will grant magical attack and magical pierce, and Mind’s Eye will also boost magical pierce and attack speed, which will greatly boost damage while doing basic attacks.
And lastly, Hunter will help Milady increase her movement speed and attack speed. Or else you can Use Saint in place of Nightmare. So, from this build, we can clearly see how each arcana complements Milady’s skill-casting abilities.
Battle Spells
Flash is the best spell for Milady. This will help her chase down dot-life enemies or escape from any tricky situation. Use your Flash wisely because its CDR is 120 seconds and she does not have any other escape skill.
Best Builds for Milady in Honor of Kings
One can try many builds on Milady. All one needs to do is to just follow the enemy’s pick and then decide the role on the battlefield. We have set out the following template in our guide to try out with Milady on the Honor of Kings battlefield focusing on his role as a mid-lane mage.
- Boots of the Arcane: This boot is mainly known as a mana regeneration boot. It will help you to generate +25 mana per 5 seconds and its unique passive magical mastery will help you to increase your magical pierce by 50-120. Or else you can use Boots of Tranquility too as per the requirement.
- Scepter of Reverberation: This can be considered a core item for Milady. This item will grant +240 magical attack and +7% movement speed. Side by side its unique passive Echo will provide Milady an explosion damage (120+40% magical) when a skill hits a target successfully. Which again compliments her skill 2.
- Mask of Agony: This can be considered a second core item for Milady. This will grant her a +120 magical attack, +5% CDR, +800 max HP, and its unique passive Torment will deal magical damage equal to 3% of their current health four times over 3 seconds if the target is hit by a skill (capped at 200 damage to monsters). This will basically complement Milady’s all three skills.
- Savant’s Wrath: This is also a main item for Milady. This item does basically one thing- increase your magic attack in two steps. First, it will grant a +240 magical attack, and then its unique passive will add a +30% magical attack.
- Void Stuff: This item will grant +240 magical attack and +500 max health while its passive Devastation increases magical pierce by +45%.
- Splendor: This item will provide +160 magical attack and +10% CDR. But the main purpose is its active effect Moonguard. Cause it will give you immunity to all effects for the next 1.5 seconds. But remember you can not move in this state. This item can basically give you an extra life in a very bad team fight situation.
Honor of Kings Milady Gameplay Tips
According to Milady’s skill-casting abilities, we can categorize him as an easy-to-play type hero. She is very strong in 1v1. According to her gameplay, we can break it down into three phases. Our Honor of Kings Milady guide includes the perfect game plan for the early, mid, and late games of the game. However, a player must have a good understanding of the map to get the most out of any hero.
Early Game
At level 1, unlock your second skill and purchase basic boots. Try to go in the middle lane; it will help you rotate fast in the top or bottom lanes. Clear your first wave of minions. But try to avoid farming in the jungle if a proper assassin or jungler is present.
Clear the first and second waves of minions to increase your mecha minions count, then try to gank enemies in the top or bottom lane. Do not just sit idle in the lane. Spam Skill 2 + Skill 1: Poking enemies and delaying their farms will also clear your minion waves very easily.
Mid Game
Use Skill 2 to harass enemies more often while providing visions for your allies; she has a mid-range, so poke your enemy in the laning phase. After unlocking skill 3, you can perform a small (Skill 2 + Skill3+ Skill 1) combo. And it will help you dominate the entire game. Milady is very fragile in the early stages, so don’t extend the fight.
Instead, try to help your allies farm or wait in the bush for a successful 1v1. Focus on invading instead of only farming. Keep an eye on your minimap and try to secure Tyrant and Overlord whenever the jungler is trying to secure them; both will give you a gold and experience boost. Not only that but slaying overlords will also help you push the lane. Before using Ultimate, you will need only one combo:
Skill 2 + Skill 3 + Skill 1
Late Game
In the late phase, keep repeating the process to dominate the battlefield. During a team fight, always aim your ultimate and Skill 1 at the damage dealer to make sure that you hit the right target. Do not hesitate to do 1v1, because at this stage you will gain massive magic damage.
Whenever you press Skill 3, watch out for enemy suppression; otherwise, you will get caught or end up by the enemies. Try to cast Skill 2 first to increase your bot count, then Skill 1, and then Skill 3 as the last nail in the coffin. And if possible, try to secure the tempest dragon in the late phase, but do not engage it directly.
Instead, try to hide in a bush or attack from a safe distance so that if the enemy appears suddenly, you can escape or finish them with your combos. At this stage, after performing the combo, if the enemy will not die, just do not waste your basic attack on them or lark them. Instead of that, back off instantly to regain your skills.

Final Thoughts
Milady can be very vulnerable to hard CC heroes, so using your battle spell is very important, but if she is doing 1v1 with a mage or marksman, the enemy team will surely learn a lesson. Beware of stun and hard CC heroes, because these heroes can counter Milady easily. Mastering Milady is very easy, and it will give you an edge to rank up quickly. But do not expose yourself often on the map. Just hide in the bush, know your position, and finish the enemy damage dealer with your one-shot combo.
An excellent pick for rank games, Milady is definitely a good pick for the current meta. The best part is that she can be considered one of the fastest lane pusher in the game. These tips will surely help you to guide easy wins with Milady in Honor of Kings. You can also refer to our latest tier list to know more about the revamped meta heroes in this current season.
