Pokémon Unite Ceruledge Movesets

Ceruledge, as an all-rounder in Pokémon Unite, is quite powerful in the game. It has a range of damage-dealing moves in its closet, some of which even help recover HP. In short, Ceruledge with its high offense and sustain, makes it indeed a top S-tier All-rounder.

Basic Attack

When Pokémon evolves, its basic attack effects change.

Level 1 Basic Attack (Charcadet)

It becomes a boosted attack with every third attack, dealing increased damage.

Level 5 Basic Attack (Ceruledge)

Becomes a boosted attack every 4 attacks, dealing damage twice. The next basic attack after using a move becomes a boosted attack.

Passive

When the Pokémon evolves, its ability changes.

Flame Body (Charcadet)

When the Pokémon with this Ability hits opposing Pokémon with a basic attack, it deals damage around itself with flames. This Ability goes on cooldown after it’s triggered.

Weak Armor (Ceruledge)

When the Pokémon takes Attack-based damage, its movement speed is increased for a short time. This effect can stack up to 2 times. If the Pokémon with this Ability deals damage to opposing Pokémon with its basic attacks or moves, the Pokémon hit receives a wound. Life energy leaks out of these wounds, causing damage over time. This effect can stack up to 6 times. If the effect stacks 6 times on an opposing Pokémon, that Pokémon takes increased damage from the Pokémon with this Ability.

Ability 1 – Lava Plume

This has the user torches the area around itself with an inferno of scarlet flames, dealing damage to opposing Pokémon it hits. The user’s next basic attack on opposing Pokémon hit by this move deals increased damage.

Ability Choices at Level 5

At Level 5, upon evolution into Ceruledge, Lava Plume would also evolve into either of the following:

Bitter BladePsycho Cut

Any HP recovered that exceeds the user’s maximum HP is converted into a shield.Has the user launch a blade formed by psychic power in the designated direction, dealing damage and applying a slowing effect to opposing Pokémon it hits. Opposing Pokémon hit by this move have their Defense decreased for a short time. If the user hits opposing Pokémon with a basic attack, this move’s cooldown is reduced.
Upgrade: Increases the amount of HP recovered.Upgrade: Further decreases the Defense of opposing Pokémon hit by this move.

Ability 2 – Take Down

Ability Choices at Level 7

At Level 7, either of these two moves becomes available:

Phantom ForceFlame Charge
Has the user dash and disappear into the darkness, where it hides for a short time. While it is hiding, it cannot move. When this move is used again, the user appears in the designated direction while slashing around itself, dealing damage that ignores Defense and shields to opposing Pokémon it hits and applying a slowing effect to them. If this move hits opposing Pokémon, its cooldown is reduced.Has the user cloak itself in flame and charge in the designated direction, dealing damage to opposing Pokémon it hits. The user’s basic attack speed is increased for a short time after using this move. A maximum of 2 uses can be kept in reserve for this move.
Upgrade: Reduces this move’s cooldownUpgrade: Increases the length of time that the user’s basic attack speed is increased.

Pokémon Unite Ceruledge Gameplay Tips

Our Pokémon Unite Ceruledge Guide will now discuss how to play or a perfect game plan for the Pokémon, across the game. The following division has two sections of the early and late game, which players must make sure to read, till the end.

Early Game

The game starts as Charcadet which has a different Basic and Passive attack from its main evolutionary form. In terms of laning, depending on one’s team composition going to the Top/Bottom is highly recommended. Players are also expected to unlock and use Lava Plume as it’s a good damaging move, that’s useful when faced with wild Apioms and opposing enemy Pokémon. After that at Level 4, which is pretty much early in the game, Charcadet evolves into Ceruledge.

Players must try to evolve within the first 2 minutes of the game since farming is key for faster Pokémon evolution. Lava Plume evolves into Bitter Blade and Psycho Cut with each dealing burst damage to enemies. Bitter Blade can be chosen if players intend to increase Ceruledge’s sustain using this skill’s bonus shield and HP regen.

The Defense reduction and movement speed slow-down make Psycho Cut a highly powerful ability to use when trying to target and takedown enemy Pokémon. Since the top lane is the most advisable lane for Ceruledge, players should focus on leveling up and scoring as many points as possible. On evolving into Ceruledge, players would be capable of easily handling opponent attackers.

Late Game

On attaining Level 7 and evolving Charcadet into Ceruledge, a choice has to be made between either Phantom Force or Flame Charge. Using Flame Charge is quite a good idea as it provides extra mobility whilst allowing the user to spam it easily due to its low Cooldown duration.

However, Phantom Force is a useful pick especially when faced with multiple enemy Pokémon targets as it ensures that the enemy caught within the skill receives the burst damage whilst being slowed. Nonetheless, players should choose according to the game plan. The Unite move can also be very useful during the Zapdos‘ fight to kill and steal, as it can help him maim and target enemy main damage dealers.

Positioning of Ceruledge

The best path for Ceruledge would be the top or bottom lane. Be it either of its evolutionary stages, the moves Ceruledge has are quite powerful for an all-rounder role Pokémon. Focus on farming the bottom lane’s Wild Pokémon. As an all-rounder, it is highly recommended that you move along with your allied speedster to help take down objectives.

Pokémon Unite Ceruledge Guide: Tips, tricks and strategies

Our Pokémon Unite Ceruledge guide includes the perfect game plan for the early and late game during the Unite battles.

  • First and foremost, players should not venture alone, not especially into the enemy territory.
  • As always, be sure to level up as early as possible, score plenty of goals, and most importantly, play as the team’s frontline whilst protecting your main attacker.
  • Take advantage of Charcadet and Ceruledge’s passive as the boosted attack makes them more powerful the more they attack
  • Phantom force is a powerful ability as it is not just capable of ignoring the enemy’s physical defense/shields when used but it can also be immune to the enemy’s damage and attacks in its first phase.
  • Utilize Flame Charge ability as a quick engage skill because of its high mobility.
  • Ceruledge should use the Unite move as a finish-off move especially when faced with multiple enemy targets, as it is an AOE damage skill.

Final Thoughts

Players must keep all the valuable points in mind while playing with Ceruledge. It is indeed a gifted All-rounder with lots of cool attack abilities that would make it shred all enemies in its path.
