Pokémon Unite Leaks: Clefable movesets

The Pokemon comes with many Fairy-type hindrance and healing moves, which perfectly suits its supporter role of it. The following movesets are the Passive and the corresponding abilities of Clefable.

Basic Attack

Becomes a boosted attack with every third attack, dealing increased damage.

Passive- Magic Guard

The Pokémon receives a shield effect when it restores any ally Pokémon’s HP. The strength of this shield is proportional to the amount of HP restored. A kind of ability that actually encourages one to support others.

Ability 1- Heal Pulse

  • CD: 7 seconds

This Psychic-type move has the player immediately restore HP to itself and nearby ally Pokémon.

Ability 1 Upgrades

Heal Pulse has these two alternatives at lvl. 4

MOONLIGHTDRAINING KISS
This non-damaging Fairy-type move has the user continually restore HP to itself and nearby ally Pokémon for a short time. The user’s movement speed is increased while this move is active.
Type- Recovery
CD: 9 seconds
This Fairy-type move has the user attack nearby opposing Pokémon with an energy-draining kiss. Each opposing Pokémon hit by the kiss receives damage and releases an air kiss.

These air kisses will travel to the user’s nearby ally Pokémon with the lowest HP and restore that Pokémon’s HP. If no ally Pokémon are near the user, the air kisses will return to the user and restore its HP.
Type- Recovery
CD: 7 seconds
Upgrade: Widens this move’s area of effect and increases the duration of its effects.Upgrade: Widens this move’s area of effect and increases the amount of HP it restores.

Ability 2- Disarming Voice

  • CD: 9 seconds

Another Fairy-type move, makes Clefable let out a charming cry, dealing damage to nearby opposing Pokémon and decreasing their movement speed for a short time.

Ability 2 Upgrades

Disarming Voice can be upgraded to either of these moves at level 6:

GRAVITYFOLLOW ME
This non-damaging Psychic-type move makes the user create a gravity zone centred on itself that persists for a set amount of time. Inside the gravity zone, the user’s basic attacks change and deal increased damage. Opposing Pokémon in the gravity zone have their movement speed decreased, with this movement speed decreasing effect becoming stronger whenever a set amount of time passes.

These opposing Pokémon are also unable to use dash moves. If an opposing Pokémon attempts to enter the gravity zone with a dash move, the dash move is stopped and that Pokémon is left unable to act for a short time.
Type– Hindrance
CD: 8.5 seconds
Probably Clefable’s most famous move from the anime, has the user move to the designated location while waving its finger, drawing the attention of opposing Pokémon it touches and opposing Pokémon near the designated location.

Affected opposing Pokémon are forced to approach the user for a short time and attack it with their basic attacks. When this move is used, the user receives a shield effect.
Type– Hindrance
CD: 10 seconds
Upgrade: Widens this move’s area of effect and increases the duration of its effects.Upgrade: Increases the user’s Defense and Sp. Def when this move is used.

Unite Move: Wonder Wish

  • CD: 1.000 seconds

Clefable’s Unite move has it waggle its finger, restoring HP to ally Pokémon in the area of effect. The lower an ally Pokémon’s HP is, the more HP this move restores to that ally. Afterwards, the user gets a random move that it can perform by using its Unite Move again within a set amount of time. It is to be noted that some random moves will activate immediately.

Probable Moves List: Close Combat – Hyper Beam – Block – Hydro Pump – Fly. Hence, Clefable is having 6 Unite Moves overall. No wonder it would be fun to play with.

Best items for Clefable in Pokémon Unite

Further in this guide, we will discuss the best-held items for Clefable in Pokémon Unite, as well as their best battle items.

Best Held Items

Item(s)Why it’s useful
Razor ClawTo deal additional damage from basic attacks that follow any move. Also, being a Melee Pokémon, this item would help in slowing opponents’ movement speed.
Scope LensThis item increases the damage of Basic Attack critical hits.
Buddy BarrierTo help the allies with a shield, when Clefable unleashes its Unite Move.

Besides the above-suggested builds, a Scizor player may also use the following item builds:

  • Energy Amplifier, Shell Bell, Sp. Atk. Specs.
  • Aeos Cookie, Exp. Share, Focus Band.
  • Energy Amplifier, Razor Claw, Buddy Barrier.

Best Battle Items

  • Potion: To Enhance a much tankier Clefable.
  • X-Speed: Might help the slow Pokemon to retreat or chase a Pokemon with low remaining HP. Also, it may perform a combo with moves like Moonlight.

Pokémon Unite Clefable Gameplay Tips

Our Pokémon Unite guide also contains the perfect gameplay strategy for Clefable. Hence, players must read till the end to find out what they should do in the early game or late game.

Early Game

Players must choose Disarming voice at first and let their allies take the Wild Pokemon. They must use Exp. Share to complement this play style. Since Clefairy evolves into Clefable at an early stage, they do not need to worry about hunting for Exp. It is best to use the move to steal Wild Pokémon spawns from the opposing team and deny them Exp.

Also, players should try to stick with one of their allies in the top or bottom lane. Players should focus on healing them with Heal Pulse. They must stay in the base when you have no ally beside them. Players should attack the opponent’s goal only in a team, where their job would be to heal the damaged allies.

Upon reaching Level 4, Clefairy evolves into Clefable and the recovery move gets an upgrade. They must use Moonlight if they feel their team requires more recovery than dealing damage. Draining Kiss is also good, since it deals damage to the opposition besides restoring ally HP. They must try to fully evolve within 1-1:30 minutes and stay with their team for team fights and top and bottom lane objectives.

Late Game

Late into the game, at level 6, they must choose the upgrade for the hindrance move wisely. Players must keep supporting their allies using Moonlight or Draining Kiss, a more offensive move. When Clefable reaches level 10, it learns its Unite move, Wonder Wish. The move adds to Clefable’s already great healing ability, which allows them to further increase your team’s durability during fights. Players can also use the move’s second activation to contribute to their team’s overall offense.

Players must help their allies secure all the objectives. They must expect their opponents to use their Unite Moves as teams clash. Be sure to keep a Moon Light or Wonder Wish at ready, just in case their team’s HP falls low. Once Clefable reaches level 10, it will have access to an upgraded healing move. At this point, the Pokémon is now capable of handling itself in a fight thanks to stronger heals. However, it is still best to use that boost in healing to support allies. If they are lucky and get Blocked after using Unite Move during the Rayquaza fight, they must use it to keep their foes away.

Positioning of Clefable

The priority should be the top or bottom lane, especially since Clefable is decently strong enough for early battles and supporting allies. If playing in the Theia Sky Ruins map, go for the bottom lane. Just accompany your allies, especially squishy Attackers like Pikachu or Deciduye.

Clefable with other Pokémon

Our Pokémon Unite Clefable guide would also talk about the relationship between Clefable and other Pokémon.

Pokémon Unite Clefable: Tips, tricks and strategies

Our Pokémon Unite Clefable guide includes the perfect game plan for the early and late games during the Unite battles.

  1. Players must prioritise helping and healing their allies more than playing for themselves.
  2. Players must choose Disarming voice as the first move and help their teammate with their knockout wild Pokémon.
  3. They must activate healing moves only, when they have allies near them and they are receiving damage during a fight.
  4. Players must try to keep the moves for team fights and map objectives, rather than using them on Wild Pokémon.
  5. Furthermore, players must try out different combo moves like Gravity+Moonlight+Slow Smoke+Basic Attack.
  6. Also, they must try to reach at least level 12 before or when Rayquaza spawns for a fully-upgraded moveset.
  7. One must make sure to have Wonder Wish available when Rayquaza spawns.
  8. For the best value, players must activate Wonder Wish or any healing move while they are in the middle of the fight so they can heal all their allies within an area.
  9. Lastly, players must avoid using it much in Ranked Matches until they master all of its moves and playing style. They should use offline mode or Standard Battles as their Practice Arena.

Final Thoughts

Clefable would be an outstanding Supporter with its Hindrance and Healing moves. Support mains are surely waiting eagerly for its arrival. Also, it would be one of the rarest occasions, where Unite players would be getting 2 supporters in 1 month, with Sableye being the other. One must keep the said tips and tricks in mind to become a Clefable master in no time.
