League of Legends: Wild Rift Riven Gameplay Tips
We already know that Riven is an oppressive baron lane champion. She uses a mix of combos to dominate the battlefield. Her passive boosts her damage-dealing abilities. According to her gameplay, we can break it down into three phases. Our League of Legends: Wild Rift Riven guide includes the perfect game plan for the early, mid, and late game. Let’s get into the gameplay guide of Riven.
The first ability allows her to do short trades and little mobility will allow her to dominate the early game. In the start, she is strong, thanks to her 3 strikes with her first ability. Riven’s abilities allow her to harass the enemy in a great way as soon as combat begins. She doesn’t use mana so that is a great relief. Try to dominate the laning phase and pushing the enemy champion on the Baron lane. If you get one or two kills in the early game, then you are all set to carry the team.
The mid-game is where Riven roams and supports in getting the objectives. In mid-game, Riven has her few of her items and all abilities. The mobility and her time of the entry of battle will decide the gameplay. The mid-game is where Riven will excel with her combos. It is very important to get hold of her skill combos with precision and cooldown duration. With perfect execution of the Combos, Riven will dominate the mid-game and may solo carry a team.
In the late game Riven may face some issues, as most of the enemy AD or AP have their items unlocked and may overwhelm Riven. The key is to perfect the timing of entering a fight such that one can use their combos, without much disturbance, get the kills. Thanks to her Ultimate, which deals a ton of damage to enemies, she can fight her way out. But it is essential to get the timing perfect.
Riven is a super-strong champion and can be considered as an S-tier baron laner. She seems to be lacking the charm as compared to her PC counterpart and may get adjust in future updates. The key to being OP Riven player is to have the precision and timing right on the battlefield. She is skill dependant champion so the result would very much depend on the use of skills.
