Pokémon Unite Dhelmise Movesets

Basic Attack

Has the user attacked by slamming its body.

Passive – Steelworker

The Pokémon is granted a shield whenever one of its moves deals damage to opposing Pokémon. This shield can stack up to 3 times. Each time this Ability grants the Pokémon a shield, the Pokémon’s next basic attack deals increased damage. If the shield granted by this Ability remains after a set amount of time, a portion of it restores HP.

Ability 1 – Payback

Has the user swing its Anchor, dealing damage and applying a slowing effect to opposing Pokémon it hits. The user deals increased damage if opposing Pokémon hit the user with an attack while this move is being used.

Ability Choices at Level 5

At Level 5, Dhelmise will have to choose either of the following abilities:

Power Whip Whirlpool
Has the user slash its anchor horizontally in front of itself, dealing damage and applying a slowing effect when it hits, and granting the user a shield.

The edge of the anchor deals additional damage and leaves opposing Pokémon it hits unable to act.
Has the user swung its anchor diagonally, dealing damage and applying a slowing effect to opposing Pokémon.

Every third time the move is used, it generates a whirlpool centered on the user, pulling in nearby opposing Pokémon. This move’s cooldown is reduced every time the user hits with a basic attack.
Upgrade: Increases the duration opposing Pokémon are left unable to actUpgrade: Further reduces this move’s cooldown every time the user hits with a basic attack.

Ability 2 – Bulldoze

Has the user shaken the ground by slamming its Anchor, dealing damage to opposing Pokémon, and throwing them.

Ability Choices at Level 7

At Level 7, either of these two moves becomes available.

Anchor ShotHeavy Slam
Has the user throw its anchor in the designated direction and catch an opposing Pokémon with it. dealing damage and leaving it unable to act.

The user then pulls the opposing Pokémon toward itself.
Has the user lob its anchor in the designated direction, dealing damage to opposing Pokémon at the point of impact and leaving them unable to act.

Opposing Pokémon near the point of impact take damage and have a slowing effect applied to them. The user then slams its heavy body down at the anchor’s point of impact, dealing damage and applying a slowing effect to opposing Pokémon it hits.
Upgrade: Increases the amount of damage dealt to the pulled opposing PokémonUpgrade: When the user slams its heavy body down, opposing Pokémon at the center of the point of impact are left unable to act.

Unite Move – Seaweed Snare

Has the user throw its anchor and ensnare a designated Pokémon from the opposing team with its long chain, dealing damage and leaving it unable to act. The user then charges at that Pokémon, dealing damage and leaving it unable to act. If other Pokémon from the opposing team are hit by the anchor or the charge, they take damage and are shoved. The user converts a portion of the damage dealt while using this Unite Move into HP recovery.

Pokémon Unite Dhelmise Gameplay Tips

Our Pokémon Unite Dhelmise Guide will now discuss how to play and achieve a perfect game plan for the Pokémon across the game. The following division has two sections of the early and late game, which players must make sure to read till the end.

Early Game

Dhelmise’s early game revolves around safe trading, shield stacking, and lane control. In terms of laning, players could go to the Top/Bottom Lane. Unlock and use Payback to apply a bit of pressure in lanes, while clearing wild Pokémon and apioms for easy level growth.

Each time you hit with Payback, your passive ability gives you a shield, so try to hit both enemies and wild Pokémon often to keep your shield stacked. This lets you stay in lane longer and contest early bees safely. Do also ensure to pair Payback with Bulldoze at Level 3 for extra control. Bulldoze throws enemies, which helps you steal last hits or interrupt their attempts to secure objectives.

While laning, do prioritise helping your team’s attacker/allied laner to farm efficiently and take down early epic Pokémon like the Rotom as soon as possible. This would help them level up as fast as possible, take down enemy Pokémon, and score the goals needed to seal the win for your team.

Mid and Late Game

At level 5, you will be able to make your first ability choice: Power Whip or Whirlpool. By level 7, you add either Anchor Shot or Heavy Slam, giving you two distinct Playstyles:

Dhelmise Late Gameplay in Pokémon Unite

  • Power Whip + Anchor Shot: This is Dhelmise’s main chase-and-catch combo. Start with Power Whip to pull enemies toward you and disrupt their movement. The moment they’re in range, follow with an Anchor Shot to lock them in place. It’s perfect for punishing overextended enemies or catching anyone trying to run from the lane.
  • Whirlpool + Heavy Slam: This combo focuses on damage and zone control. Use Whirlpool first to pull enemies into the center and slow them. Once they’re trapped inside the vortex, jump in with Heavy Slam for a big burst of damage. It is great for team fights, contesting objectives, and breaking enemy formations.

So, choose according to your preferred game plan. Dhelmise Unite Move is a powerful single-target tool, allowing you to isolate and completely disrupt one of the enemy team’s Pokémon. Therefore, it is best to use this ability on the enemy’s main carry and Attacker-type Pokémon. Doing this during teamfights in the late game will make it harder for the enemy team to secure objectives like Groudon.

Positioning of Dhelmise

The best path for Dhelmise would be the top or bottom Lane. Players should prioritise farming Aipoms and Audinos to level up efficiently. The cluster of Combees and Vespiqueen should be hunted down as much as possible to allow for increased exp and easy level-up.

Dhelmise with other Pokémon

Our Pokémon Unite Dhelmise guide will also talk about the relationship between Dhelmise and other Pokémon.
