Pokémon Unite Meowth Movesets
Basic Attack
Becomes a boosted attack with every third attack, dropping gold coins near opposing Pokémon it hits.
Passive – Pickup
Attacking Pokémon from the opposing team will pilfer their battle item. Defeating a wild Pokémon will pilfer a random battle item. This Ability goes on cooldown after it’s triggered. Moving toward Aeos energy or gold coins increases Meowth’s movement speed. Picking up the gold coins increases your movement speed for a short time.
Ability 1 – Scratch
Meowth scratches a designated opposing Pokémon with its sharp claws, dealing damage.
Ability Choices at Level 5
At Level 5, Meowth will have to choose either of the following abilities:

Unite Move – Gold Coin Barrage
Meowth unleashes a barrage of gold coins towards the designated Pokémon from the enemy team, dealing lots of damage to it. If another Pokémon from the enemy team steps in the coins’ path, the coins will hit them instead.
During the attack, coins will periodically drop close to the enemy Pokémon hit by this Unite move.

Early Game
In terms of laning, players should go to the Jungle/Central Lane while using Meowth, you can also opt for the Bottom Lane. Meowth plays very aggressively in the early game due to its serious damage output and mobility. Use Scratch and Feint to poke enemies, last-hit wild Pokémon, while pressuring enemies in the lane. Since your boosted basic attacks drop Gold Coins, ensure to always pick them to gain bonus movement speed.
Thanks to Meowth’s passive ability, attacking the enemy Pokémon can steal their battle item early, while instantly refreshing your own battle item cooldown. Mid and Late Game
At Level 5, Meowth unlocks its first ability choice: Pay Day or Fury Swipes. By Level 7, it gains either Feint Attack or Assurance, creating two main play styles:
- Pay Day + Feint Attack: This combo boosts Meowth’s mobility, burst damage output and disrupt potential. Use Pay Day to poke and slow enemies, which in turn drops coins, then jump in with Feint Attack to disrupt and deal bonus damage to the Pokémon. Picking up coins boosts your movement speed and resets your battle item, letting you engage, escape, and re-engage often.
- Fury Swipes + Assurance: This combo is built for close-range burst and sustain. Ensure to build up stacks with basic attacks beforehand, then unleash Fury Swipes for multiple swipe attacks, then follow up with Assurance to deal heavy damage and restore HP. This combo works best when diving isolated targets, allowing Meowth to finish them quickly.
So, choose according to your preferred game plan. Meowth’s Unite Move is a powerful ability allowing you to lock onto an enemy target and burst them down easily. The best part of this ability is that enemies intending to block the Gold Coins from reaching your target will also receive damage regardless. Therefore, ensure to use it on the enemy’s main damage dealer to easily burst them down and secure objectives like Groudon and Regieleki.
Positioning of Meowth
The best path for Meowth would be the Jungle or the bottom Lane. Allowing you to easily farm and rotate across lanes to help allies.
