• Water Absorb (Vaporeon): Grants a water shield whenever a set amount of time passes. If the Pokémon takes damage while the water shield is active, the shield nullifies the damage and restores the Pokémon’s HP instead. This Ability goes on cooldown after it’s triggered. Hitting a Pokémon from the opposing team with a move or boosted attack will reduce this Ability’s cooldown.

Ability 1 – Swift

Has the user shoot star-shaped rays in the designated direction, dealing damage and applying a slowing effect to opposing Pokémon.

Ability Choices at Level 4

At Level 4, Vaporeon will have to choose either of the following abilities:

Ability 2 – Tackle

Has the user charge in the designated direction, dealing damage to opposing Pokémon it hits and shoving them.

Ability Choices at Level 6

At Level 6, either of these two moves becomes available.

Unite Move – Aquamarine Splash

Has the user jump up high and dive underwater, creating a current that pulls in nearby opposing Pokémon. Afterwards, the user leaps out of the water, dealing damage to nearby opposing Pokémon and throwing them when it lands.

In terms of laning, players should go to the Top/Bottom Lane while using Vaporeon. • Hydro Pump + Aqua Ring: This combo turns Vaporeon into a steady frontline wall. Engage enemies with Hydro Pump to push enemies back and break their engagement, then activate Aqua Ring for a healing wave that follows you and any allies who step inside it. It’s the safer combo, built for holding ground and surviving extended teamfights.
• Muddy Water + Flip Turn: This combo is more aggressive and lets Vaporeon start fights safely. Begin with Muddy Water to slow and disrupt enemies around you, making it harder for them to dodge or counter. Once they’re hit, use Flip Turn to dash through the group, deal damage, tank hits, and bounce back to safety. It’s ideal for teamfights initiation and extra crowd control.

So, choose according to your preferred game plan. Vaporeon’s Unite Move is a powerful engage and disrupt move that allows Vaporeon to control a wide area during important fights. Therefore, it is best to use this ability while enemy Pokémon are surrounding you. Doing this will pull them closer and throw them up, disrupting their abilities and making it harder for them to secure objectives like Groudon.

Positioning of Vaporeon

The best path for Vaporeon would be the top or bottom Lane. Helping your allies, Attacker/Speedster is highly recommended.
