Basic Attack

We will update these ability details when the Pokémon releases on May 8th, 2026.

Passive – Torrent

Whenever Feraligatr is at half HP or less, its move cooldowns are reduced by 2 seconds. This Pokémon also evolves from Totodile (Level 1-4) to Croconaw (Level 5-6), before finally evolving into Feraligatr at Level 7.

Ability 1 – Bite

Feraligatr bites with its viciously sharp fangs, dealing damage and applying a slowing effect to opposing Pokémon. The next basic attack also becomes a boosted attack.

Ability Choice at Level 5

At Level 5, Feraligatr will be able to use the following ability:

Crunch

On unlocking this ability, Feraligatr can cycle between fangs that have various effects. Using this move again selects one of three effects, applies it to the next basic attack, and increases basic attack speed for a short time afterward.

  • Gluttonous fangs: When a basic attack hits, Feraligatr’s HP is restored.
  • Destructive fangs: When a basic attack hits an opposing Pokémon, that Pokémon’s Defense stats decrease.
  • Clamping fangs: When a basic attack hits an opposing Pokémon, it applies a slowing effect.

Ability 2 – Scratch

Feraligatr dashes in the designated direction to claw opposing Pokémon with its sharp claws, dealing damage and leaving them unable to act.

Ability Choice at Level 7

At Level 7, Feraligatr will be able to use the following ability:

Waterfall

Feraligatr storms in the designated direction, dealing damage to opposing Pokémon, while gaining bonus Shield. When this move hits opposing Pokémon, its effects differ depending on the distance stormed.

If the distance is under a certain amount, the opposing Pokémon are left unable to act. If the distance is over a certain amount, the opposing Pokémon are thrown.

Unite Move

Feraligatr lets out an intimidating growl, reducing move cooldowns for a short time. When this Unite Move is used again, the user charges at the designated Pokémon from the opposing team and sinks its teeth into them, dealing damage.

The amount of damage dealt to Pokémon from the opposing team will be based on the number of additional effects applied by Crunch.

Pokémon Unite Feraligatr Gameplay Tips

Our Pokémon Unite Feraligatr Guide will now discuss how to play and achieve a perfect game plan for the Pokémon across the game. The following division has two sections of the early and late game, which you must make sure to read till the end.

Early Game

In terms of laning, you should go to the Top/Bottom Lane while using Feraligatr. In the early phase, focus on farming and applying pressure in lanes. Utilize your first skill, Bite, to deal damage, slow enemies, and boost your next basic attack. Do ensure to follow up with basic attacks to maximize your damage potential.

On reaching Level 3, unlock and use Scratch to dash in, deal damage, and briefly disable enemies before repositioning in the lane. Avoid overextending since you are still weak and squishy early on. Focus on farming, scoring goals, and leveling up to evolve into a stronger form, as Feraligatr becomes much stronger once it reaches Level 5 and unlocks Crunch.

Mid and Late Game

On reaching Level 5, Bite upgrades into Crunch, and at Level 7, Scratch upgrades into Waterfall, forming its core combo. This combo focuses on sustained damage and control. Use Crunch to cycle between fang effects and enhance your next basic attack, either healing yourself, lowering enemy defenses, or slowing them.

After applying the Fang effect, use Waterfall to dash in, gain a shield, and either stun or throw enemies depending on their distance from you. This lets you control fights and stay alive longer. In the Mid/Late game, Feraligatr’s passive ability becomes a powerful tool as it allows you to spam your abilities when you’re low on health. Utilize this perk especially after using Feraligatr’s Unite move.

Feraligatr’s Unite Move is best used during fights when you have already applied effects from Crunch. Start by activating it to reduce your cooldowns, then use it again to charge at a target and deal heavy damage. The more effects you have applied with Crunch, the stronger the damage becomes.

This makes Feraligatr’s Unite move very effective when brawling against the enemy’s Frontlines. This gives your team a strong advantage, especially when contesting core Late Game objectives like Goal Zones, Groudon, and Regieleki.

Positioning of Feraligatr

The best path for Feraligatr would be the Top or the Bottom Lane, letting you easily farm and rotate across lanes to assist allies.
