Pokémon Unite Meganium’s Movesets
Basic Attack
Meganium whips its vines or headbutt, dealing damage to opposing Pokémon.
Passive – Overgrow
When an ally Pokémonʼ HP is below a certain percentage, the amount of HP recovered is increased. This Pokémon also evolves from Chikorita (Level 1-4) to Bayleef (Level 5-6), before finally evolving into Meganium at Level 7.
Ability 1 – Magical Leaf
Meganium scatters curious leaves, dealing damage and applying a slowing effect to opposing Pokémon.
Ability Choice at Level 5
At Level 5, Meganium will be able to use the following ability:
Grass Knot
Meganium slashes its vines in the designated direction, dealing damage to opposing Pokémon and leaving them unable to move. When this move becomes a full bloom move, the user’s vines grow thicker.
After this move hits an opposing Pokémon, vines will also spread around it and ensnare other nearby opposing Pokémon, leaving them unable to move after a set amount of time.
Upgrade at Level 11: Reduces this move’s cooldown. (6 seconds)
Ability 2 – Synthesis
Meganium produces energy through photosynthesis in the area surrounding a designated Pokémon, recovering the HP of ally Pokémon in the area of effect. For a short time, opposing Pokémon in the area of effect deal decreased damage.
Ability Choice at Level 7
At Level 7, Meganium will be able to use the following ability:
Petal Blizzard
Meganium stirs up a violent petal blizzard in the designated direction, dealing damage and applying a slowing effect to opposing Pokémon while restoring ally Pokémon HP within its area of effect.
The HP of ally Pokémon near Meganium will also be restored. When this move becomes a full bloom move, the blizzard’s area of effect is increased, and the petals remain for a set amount of time.
Upgrade at level 13: Increases the amount of HP this move restores.
Unite Move – Full Bloom Aroma
Meganium emits a sweet aroma from the flowers around its neck, dealing damage to opposing Pokémon. The fragrance also soothes the urge to fight, decreasing the damage dealt by nearby opposing Pokémon.
While the sweet smell lingers, the user’s next move will be boosted, becoming a full bloom move. When a move hits opposing Pokémon, the Unite move gauge charges faster. Since this ability quells the urge to fight, it also decreases Meganium’s damage dealt to opposing Pokémon.

Pokémon Unite Meganium Gameplay Tips
Our Pokémon Unite Meganium Guide will now discuss how to play and achieve a perfect game plan for the Pokémon across the game. The following division has two sections of the early and late game, which you must make sure to read till the end.
Early Game
In terms of laning, you should go to the Top/Bottom Lane while using Meganium. In the early phase, focus on farming and supporting your allied laner. Start by using Magical Leaf to deal damage and slow enemies, making it easier to control the lane. Stay close to your teammate and avoid overextending, as you’re more of a support than a durable Frontliner.

On reaching Level 3, unlock and use Synthesis to provide extra sustain by healing yourself and allies. This gives your team an advantage in early fights, putting extra pressure on enemies in the lane. Since Meganium’s second ability reduces enemy damage received inside its healing area, use it during close-ranged fights.
This helps protect you and your allies while healing them. Focus on farming, scoring goals, assisting allies and leveling up to evolve into a stronger form, as Meganium becomes much stronger becomes much more useful once it gains its crowd control and stronger support abilities.
Mid and Late Game
On reaching Level 5, Magical Leaf upgrades into Grass Knot, and at Level 7, Synthesis upgrades into Petal Blizzard, forming its core combo. This combo focuses on control and healing. It is best to use Grass Knot when there are multiple enemy Pokémon around, as the vines would spread immobilizing them all.

Then follow up with Petal Blizzard to deal damage, slow enemies, and heal nearby allies. This combo is very strong in grouped fights, allowing your team to stay healthy while enemies are controlled. Therefore, ensure to position yourself in the middle of fights so your heal and debuff abilities are greatly utilized.

Meganium’s Unite Move is best used during the heat of teamfights. It reduces the damage enemies deal while also boosting your next move, making your abilities stronger. It also helps your team survive longer while weakening enemies, giving your team an advantage in fights around late game objectives like Goal Zones, Groudon, and Regieleki.
Positioning of Meganium
The best path for Meganium would be the Top or the Bottom Lane, letting you easily farm and rotate across lanes to assist allies.
