Mobile Legends Aulus Guide: Best Build, Emblem and Gameplay Tips

Old Aulus, still has a few tricks to show!

After it’s first release in August 2021 Mobile Legends: Bang Bang’s Aulus is finally getting a major overhaul/Revamp this April 2026. This time, we’d see the Original Aulus stepping down so that his apprentice can take over his legacy.

Now the new and Revamped Aulus is much stronger, as he now possesses Control Immunity, enraged state and can deal massive AOE damage. In this guide, we will take a look at the best emblem, spell, build, including tips and tricks to pave your way to victory with Aulus in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.

Skill Analysis

Aulus is a hero with the common four skill sets of one passive and three actives. He can be played in the EXP or Jungle Lane. Therefore, let’s check out what his abilities are in MLBB, and what to expect when using him.

Passive – Fighting Spirit

After dealing damage, Aulus adds a stack of Fighting Spirit to his axe each second for 4 seconds (up to 6 stacks). Each stack grants extra Attack Speed. At max Fighting Spirit stacks, Aulus’s Basic Attack is enhanced and gains extra Attack Range.

Enhanced Basic Attack: Aulus slams his axe into the ground, dealing lots of bonus Physical Damage to enemies in a line.

Skill 1 – Aulus, Charge

Aulus starts accumulating Fighting Spirit, removing all slow effects, while gaining 30% extra Movement Speed for 5 seconds. If Aulus does not take high-level control effects within 2 seconds, he will enter the Enraged state and gain Control Immunity.

Skill 2 – The Power of Axe

Aulus swings his axe, dealing Physical Damage to enemies in a fan-shaped area and slowing them by 30% for 2 seconds. Upon hitting an enemy, Aulus can cast this skill again to dash forward and smash the ground, dealing bonus Physical Damage to nearby enemies.

Skill 3 – Cleaving Axe

Aulus repeatedly swings his axe at nearby enemies, dealing lots of Physical Damage each time. After 4 strikes, Aulus briefly charges before unleashing a wider slash, dealing bonus Physical Damage to enemies in a large area. During this skill, Aulus gains 20% Damage Reduction and a short burst of Movement Speed with each slash.

Skill-up method for Aulus

First Unlock Skill 2, while prioritizing upgrading it to max level. Upgrade skill 1 accordingly and ultimate ability whenever available.

Best Emblem Set and Spells for Aulus in Mobile Legends

Emblem Set

Aulus has decent damage output so you can use this Custom Assassin Emblem on him to amplify his basic attack damage. This will also help him to handle the early game situation. Agility will provide him movement speed which will amplify his own mobility, Invasion to increase his physical pen and Killing spree will restore his lost hp and movement speed after slaying an enemy hero. You can set up your emblem like this:

  • Agility (+3)
  • Invasion (+3)
  • Killing Spree (+1)

Spells

One of the best spells to be used on Aulus is Flicker. You can use it to easily reposition, chase low HP enemies, or perform a perfect team fight. You can use Execute too, to kill dot life enemies or else use Retribution if you are playing as a jungler. Do not stick into one battle spell, just change it according to the enemy team composition.

Best Builds for Aulus in Mobile Legends

builds for aulus Mobile Legends Aulus Guide
  • Warrior Boots
  • War Axe
  • Blade of despair
  • Brute Force Breastplate
  • Berserker’s Fury
  • Immortality

The main item war ax is exactly what you need to boost your passive and Breastplate will provide you extra movement speed and physical plus magical defense. Don’t build Bloodlust Axe cause the spell vamp is not so effective instead of that build Haas’s Claw to do Physical Lifesteal. You can also build Windtalker/Corrosion Scythe/Blade of Heptaseas to boost your attack speed; if your team has enough sustained heroes in your team go for the BOD. Lastly, wrap up yourself with Immortality to get an extra life.

Mobile Legends Aulus Gameplay Tips

Aulus is a bit squishy at the early phase, so try to play inside lane or else play as a jungler. You can play him as a Fighter or Initiator in Exp lane. After getting his core items he will easily dominate the battlefield. According to his gameplay, we can break it down into three phases.

Our Mobile Legends Aulus guide includes the perfect game plan for the early, mid, and late game in the game. However, a player must need a good understanding of the map to bring the best out of any hero.

Early Game

While playing Aulus in the Exp lane, ensure to focus on safe farming while avoiding overextending. Unlock your second skill to easily clear minion waves from a safer distance. Utilize the second phase of the skill to reposition away from danger. Your first skill will come in handy, allowing you to easily rotate across lanes to help out your allied jungler or midlaner.

Mid Game

On unlocking your ultimate ability, Aulus offensive capabilities is increased by alot. Therefore, prioritize rotating to help your jungler secure the turtle while giving your team the early gold/exp advantage. Based on the nature of Aulus abilities, he’s good at initiating fights, so ensure you take on enemy squishy targets and backlines.

Now that Aulus has Crowd Control Immunity on his First skill, make sure to utilize this while dealing with mages and other Crowd-control heroes. While using Aulus, do keep in mind the following ability combos to get the best out of him.

Skill 1 + Skill 2 + Basic Attack + Skill 1 + Ultimate ability

Late Game

In the late game, Aulus should prioritize using his first skill to constantly prolong his passive enhanced basic attack. Use it to initiate and pressure the enemy backlines constantly. Do also ensure to assist allies to take down Lord while also ensuring to pressure other lanes via split-pushing turrets.

Final Thoughts

Aulus is a late-game powerhouse who excels in extended fights. If you position well, stay consistent with your attacks, and time your entry properly, he can overwhelm enemies and carry teamfights with pure sustained damage. Make sure to check out other MLBB guides, for more content.
