Skill Analysis
Zilong has three active skills and a passive skill like all the other heroes in-game. In this Mobile Legends guide, we will also talk about the skills to use in certain scenarios as well as skill combos to be able to play Zilong to his utmost potential.
Passive – Dragon Flurry
After every 3 Basic Attacks, Zilong gains Dragon Flurry on the next Basic Attack, hitting the target 3 times. - Zilong lunges at the target enemy, dealing 250/290/330/370/410/450 (+60% Total Physical ATK) Physical Damage to the target and reducing the target’s Physical Defense by 15/18/21/24/27/30 for 2s. he then launches a Basic Attack immediately on the same target.
- The Cooldown of Spear Strike is reset each time Zilong kills an enemy.
Ultimate – Supreme Warrior (Speed Up, Buff)
- Zilong removes all slow effects on himself and gains 40% Movement Speed, 45/60/75% Attack Speed, and slow immunity for 7.5s.
- For the skill duration, Dragon Flurry can be triggered after every two Basic Attacks instead of every three Basic Attacks.

It is advisable to first unlock Skill 2 to clear lanes easily, upgrade Skill 1 accordingly, and Ultimate whenever available.
Best Emblem set and Spells for Zilong in Mobile Legends
Emblem Setup
The most ideal emblem to use for Zilong is the custom Assassin Emblem. The Assassin Emblem should provide extra Physical Attack as well as Physical Penetration needed to burst down enemy units. So in the first tier, it is advisable to choose Rupture which provides extra Adaptive Penetration against enemy targets.
While in the second tier opt for Master Assassin as it provides an extra attack damage buff when facing lone enemy hero targets. Lastly, Choose Killing Spree for extra HP Regen whenever you slay an enemy hero. One could also, opt for Lethal Ignition talent instead as it provides high burst bonus damage.
Battle Spells
- Retribution: If one’s team lacks a jungler, one could opt for Retribution to jungle and farm fast.
- Arrival: This spell is useful in covering long distances and clearing lanes, proper usage of this spell might make it quite hard for your enemies to steal turrets or push lanes.
- Execute: For extra damage, during solo or team fights one could opt for this spell for proper finish-offs.
- Inspire: This spell is useful since it provides extra Attack speed and HP Regen which can be essential when facing multiple enemies in a lane.
Best Builds for Zilong in Mobile Legends

Boots: If equipped with retribution, it is advisable to take Rapid Boots and Bless it with. But if one’s team already has a jungler one could go Exp lane and opt for Warriors Boots (For extra Physical Defense) or Swift Boots (For Extra Attack Speed), depending on enemies lineup.
It is highly advisable to begin by building Windtalker as it provides high attack speed and extra Critical Chance needed to burst down enemies and to efficiently clear down minion waves. Following up with Berserker’s Fury and Malefic Roar would help Zilong efficiently burst down even high HP tanky heroes. Lastly, Blade of Despair for super high attack damage to complement his late-game damage scaling.

As discussed before, Zilong excels at ambushing enemies while decimating their HP greatly using his buffed Basic skill. However, a player must need a good understanding of the map to bring the best out of any hero. According to his gameplay, we can break it down into three phases. Early Game
If equipped with a Retribution spell, proceed to the jungle and go to take the Purple buff, then take the Lithowander creep before proceeding to take your team’s, Red Buff. After upgrading the Retribution spell by taking out at least 5 creeps, one can proceed to the gold lane to gank the enemy marksman and take the Gold Crab.
After successfully ganking the enemy, proceed to take the turtle for your team. But if not equipped with Retribution, proceed to the Exp lane and clear minions while trying not to act too aggressively on the battlefield. Just in case the enemy ever gets too greedy to gank you in your turret use Spear Flip to pull them into the turret so the turret would deal extra damage to them. You can perform the following combo to gain an upper hand in the early game.
Skill 2 + Basic Attack +Skill 1
Mid Game
After unlocking Zilong’s Ultimate, properly maximize the buff from the skill in rotating lanes easily as well as to fight against durable enemies mostly fighters rather than tanks, and also use it to chase dot life enemies.
