  • In the Third Tier Talent, players can pick Concussive Blast as it deals AOE magic damage to surrounding enemies.

Best Builds for Chip in Mobile Legends

Chip is a Tank role hero that possesses crowd control capabilities, whilst maximizing Portals to change the tide of the battlefield. Chip equipment build is centred on sustaining and making Chip more capable of Tanking damage. Thus, players buying roaming boots, can then proceed by building Dominance Ice as it reduces enemy Regen and attack speed. Following up with Athena Shield/Radiant Armor would help counter Burst/Continuous magic damage Heroes depending on enemy lineup. Depending on enemy ADC lineup, it’s advisable to follow up with either Antique Curaiss or Blade Armor.

Mobile Legends Chip Guide: Gameplay Tips

Chip is a unique Tank/Support role hero with Crowd control and Portal utilization capabilities. Chip is capable of easily initiating and engaging enemies whilst calling on teammates for extra backup. Still, a player must have a good understanding of the map to bring the best out of any hero. According to his gameplay, we can break it down into three phases. This MLBB Chip guide includes the perfect game plan for the early, mid, and late gameplay of Chip.

Early Game

Due to his skillsets and capabilities, it is mostly expected that one roams with Chip. One is expected to first roam towards the mid-lane and help out your team’s mage and Jungler while they’re taking objectives. Thus, helping your team’s jungle with farm whilst also protecting his buff from an enemy invade is the best thing to do early. When your team has successfully secured the Jungle lane, you can then proceed to roam to assist and gank enemies MM before turtle spawns.

Skill 2 + Basic Attack + Skill 1 + Basic Attack + Skill 1

Do note that staying close to the allied laners when lanes are being cleared would give extra exp, thus assisting in Levelling up.

Mid Game

After ganking Gold lane, Chip could easily use the Beacon that’s closest to the Gold lane so as to instantly teleport to the beacon closest to the turtle side. Thus allowing for easy lane maneuvering and on-time team fight assistance.

In short, when the turtle spawns during this phase, one should always prioritize taking the turtle and other main objectives. To properly maximize Chip’s skills, it’s advisable to mark and place the Main Portal on enemy Jungler. So allied heroes could instantaneously teleport there to attack such hero. This initiation is quite useful as it allows to easily secure any objectives since there’s strength in a 5-man gank.

Late Game

This phase of the game is quite crucial as all players must be wary of their positioning and timing. Nonetheless, the versatility of Chip can help teammates to utilize different strategies. If you know more about the best heroes in every meta in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), do refer to our best heroes article.

Some of the late game strategies that can be used with Chip includes:

  • Late Game Split Push: Allied heroes could Split Push lanes knowing that whenever enemy targets are on their tail Chip could create a Portal which can serve as an escape route for allies. It could also be used to confuse enemies too.
  • 5-man Ambush: Chip could also initiate a 5-man Ambush. Other allied heroes only have to recall to their base and then Chip would mark and place the Main Portal so Allied heroes could come through there. Thus, unleashing havoc on enemies that are taking late-game objectives like the Lord.

In this phase, Chip should also prioritize targeting enemy solo lane pushers and easily take them down with the use of his Portals.
