Best Emblem Set and Spells for Suyou in Mobile Legends Bang Bang
Emblem Setup
Suyou is a versatile hero that can be used as a Jungle/Exp lane hero as his abilities allow him to easily gank and harass enemies on the battlefield. Because of this, weāve brought up some of the best Emblem/Talent Setups that would allow Suyou to excel in his chosen lane.
The Custom Assassin Emblem is the most advisable emblem for Suyou when Jungling. As it grants extra penetration and bonus damage attack for Suyou. But if you are using Suyou in the Exp lane, the Fighter Emblem is highly recommended due to its durability, damage and sustain perks. The following are the most suitable talents to equip during emblem setup:
- In the First Talent, we choose Rupture as it provides extra adaptive penetration granting him an early-game damage boost for his skills. If laning in the exp lane, you can opt for Firmness for its extra Magic and Physical Defense, granting Suyou more durability early on.
- In the Second Tier Talent, pick Seasoned Hunter for an extra damage boost when farming in the Jungle. If laning in the exp lane, pick Festival of Blood, as it provides a bonus Spell Vamp that boosts Suyou’s sustain.
- In the Third Tier Talent, you can pick Lethal Ignition for bonus scorch damage on enemy targets. If laning in the Exp lane, you can opt for Brave Smite for extra HP regen on dealing skill damage to enemies.
Battle Spells
- Whilst using Suyou, it is advisable to Jungle with him, thus making the Retribution spell a must-have battle spell.
- However, if you’re laning in the Exp lane, you should equip the Vengeance spell, as an extra form of durability, especially when faced with high burst damage enemy heroes.
Best Equipment Build for Suyou in Mobile Legends
Suyou equipment build is centered on granting him high damage penetration, mobility, and lots of attack power to allow him to excel much on the battlefield.
Proceed to buy Tough boots, for extra CC and slow-duration reduction as well as for extra magic defense in the laning phase. The boot should be blessed with ice retribution as it steals a portion of the enemy’s movement speed. You can then purchase Hunter strike for extra physical penetration and movement speed on dealing damage to enemies.
Proceed to purchase War Axe, for extra Spell Vamp and increased attack damage the more Suyou fights. It also deals extra true damage to enemies making it a reliable damage and sustain item. You can then follow up with Malefic Roar for high physical penetration to melt tanky enemy targets.
To boost Suyou’s survival and sustain, follow up with Queen’s Wings as it grants extra Damage reduction whenever Suyou has low HP. Its passive also grants lots of extra damage stats and spell vamp that greatly boost Suyou’s sustain. Lastly, build Blade of Despair for a high Physical Attack needed to burst down enemy hard carry in the late-game.
Mobile Legends Suyou Guide: Gameplay Tips
Suyou is a highly versatile fighter with powerful skills that allow him to freely engage and disengage from enemies. Thanks to the amazing perks from his passive, Suyou can easily switch between his Mortal and Immortal forms, thus allowing him to effectively harass enemies right from the early game.
According to his gameplay, we can break it down into three phases. Nonetheless, a player must have a good understanding of the map to bring the best out of any hero. This MLBB Suyou guide includes the perfect game plan for the early, mid, and late gameplay of Suyou.
Early Game
Due to his skillsets and capabilities, the Jungle Lane is the most recommended lane for Suyou. Thanks to his Mortal and Immortal form abilities, Suyou can clear out creeps and farm easily in the Jungle. First, secure the Purple buff before going for the Lithowanderer.
While using Suyou, prioritize farming to reach Lvl. 3 early as he can easily harass enemies with his full skillset. If your team can arrange a Jungle raid go for that. Ignore and return to farming, if the risk is too high because any accident can risk a delay in farming.
It is important to understand and remember Suyou’s skills and capabilities, knowing this will allow you to quickly identify the right combo to use in any situation. Suyou’s Hold and Release skills are better suited for ambushing and teamfights as it greatly increases his attack and survival stats. Regardless, here’s a brief combo list that would help Suyou fair better in the game:
- Hold-Casting Skill 1 + Hold-Casting Skill 2 + Basic attacks + Skill 3
- Tap Skill 1 + Hold-Casting Skill 2 + Hold-Casting Skill 3
The First Combo allows Suyou to stun enemies before slashing them, he can then dash out and disengage from them. The Second Combo is good when ambushing enemies, following up with hold-casting Suyou’s third skill allows him to send finishing arrows to enemy targets.
Mid Game
Suyou shines well in this phase due to his burst damage output and versatile skill combos. In the mid-game try to wait for the right moment to pick out enemy low-health heroes or squishy carry heroes. In short, always focus on the enemy Mage/Marksman/Jungler.
Do note that Suyou in his immortal form fares much better against burst damage enemies due to the higher defensive stats. So do utilize this form, especially during teamfights and ganks. Utilize the extra movement speed passive from Suyou’s Mortal form to rotate across lanes easily while executing ganks and ambushes. Despite that, focus on farming and taking main objectives to give your team the upper hand in general.
Late Game
In the late game, the enemy is going to buy defense items to counter Suyou’s burst damage. prioritize building extra Penetration items to pierce through those. You should also wait patiently for the right moment to takedown off-positioned enemy heroes.
Focus on Mage and Marksman as they are squishy and easy targets to engage and burst down. Also, remember to not rush in early into fights, rather try to wait for your team’s roamer or fighter to initiate battles. In the late game, try to use a mixture of Hold-Casting Suyou’s third skill with Retribution to steal and secure the lord for your team.
All in all, this phase of the game is very crucial as you must be wary of their positioning and timing to avoid unnecessary ambushes and deaths.
