The new Decisive Moment Patch Update is here and it will be bringing with it a new Ranked season and a new hero, Marcel. This new Support hero is quite unique, as he possesses lots of control abilities, whilst also possessing the first set of Time-stopping abilities in MLBB. In this guide, we will look at the best emblem, spell, and build, including tips and tricks to pave your way to victory with the new hero, Marcel in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB).
Skill Analysis
Passive: Platinum Snap
Marcel’s split soul – Clemar, enters the camera to freeze the moment. With his Basic Attack, you can deal Physical Damage but can’t Crit and you don’t benefit from extra Attack Speed. But his extra HP is converted into Hybrid Defense. Clemar automatically snaps photos of nearby enemy heroes, causing a brief Frozen Moment and dealing True Damage based on their Max HP.
It also grants a shield of the same amount to you and a nearby allied hero. This effect has a 12 seconds cooldown per target. Luckily, each of Marcel’s Basic Attack hit reduces the cooldown of this effect on that enemy target by 1 second.
First Skill: Framed Moment
Clemar focuses on an area around Marcel, while slowing down all enemy heroes within range. After few seconds, you complete the shot, dealing Physical Damage to enemies within range and immobilizing them for 1 second.
Second Skill: Tracking Shot
You enter a Tracking Haste state for few seconds, gaining increased Movement Speed. This bonus greatly increases by a lot when moving towards an enemy hero.
Use Again: You can dash in the target direction, leaving a framing phantom behind. If Framed Moment is active, Clemar remains at the original location to continue shooting.
Third Skill: Golden Hour
Marcel and Clemar perform a joint shoot with this ability. After a short delay, Clemar takes a wide-angle shot of a designated area for few seconds. During this time, you’ll enter Tracking Haste within the area.
All other units are put into Frozen Moment and are immune to all effects except from Marcel. All ranged Basic attacks and projectiles are also frozen and will only hit once they’re unfrozen. Golden Hour resets the cooldown of Platinum Snap for each enemy hero caught within the zone.
Skill-up method for Marcel
Due to his abilities, Marcel is best used as a roamer as he can easily rotate across lanes to help allies. Therefore, unlock and prioritize upgrading Marcel’s Skill 1, follow up with upgrading his Skill 2, and Ultimate whenever available.

Mobile Legends Marcel Build Guide Gameplay Tips
Marcel brings a powerful mix of mobility, and crowd control to the battlefield in MLBB. As a roamer, he excels at supporting allies by disrupting enemies using his powerful control abilities and especially his ultimate ability, that completely freezes everything within the zone. Marcel is undoubtedly a very annoying Support hero to deal with on the battlefield.
According to his gameplay, we can break it down into three phases. Nonetheless, you must have a good understanding of the map to bring the best out of any hero. This Mobile Legends (MLBB) Marcel guide includes the perfect game plan for the early, mid, and late gameplay of Marcel.
Early Game
Due to his skill set and capabilities, Marcel is best played as a Roamer. Therefore, in the early game, your focus should be on roaming to provide support for allies. That said, do not forget Marcel is still just a Support hero, therefore he doesn’t have as much HP as most conventional Tank roam. So ensure to prioritize and focus on aiming for squishy enemy targets during the early game.

Start by unlocking Marcel’s first skill Framed Moment, then use it to slow down and immobilize surrounding enemies on the battlefield. Doing this will help your allied laner to land more hits on the CC’ed enemy, giving them an edge during the laning phase. After unlocking Marcel’s Skill 2, immobilizing enemies becomes more easier to accomplish.
All you have to do is use your skill 2 to chase enemy targets, then activate your first skill to immobilize them. Follow up with the second phase of your Skill 2 to blink and drop another immobilizing zone in your original location. Doing this simple combo will immobilize enemies for a really long while on the battlefield. The skill combo is simplified below:
Skill 2 + Skill 1 + Skill 2 (again)
Mid and Late Game
From the Mid to Late game, Marcel becomes an active threat on the battlefield with his tough control abilities. Marcel’s Ultimate ability is one of the most unique and powerful abilities currently available in the game. As this ability can freeze just about anything including Lords and Turtles, even allies are not safe from this.
Therefore, you should focus on using the ability to give you and your teammates a temporary number advantage shifting the tides of battle to your side. This ability can also be comboed with allied mm or mage as their projectile attacks will be frozen in time and will hit enemies in a burst once Marcel’s Ult ends. This is a really annoying thing to do with as even purify won’t save you from the freezing capabilities of Marcel.

Do also ensure to move alongside your allies during teamfights, as they will benefit from the bonus Shield Regen from your Passive ability. ocus on controlling the map by providing vision and initiating crucial team fights. Precise timing of your abilities – especially your ultimate ability is one of the greatest key to securing victory with Marcel
